Chinese New Year Celebration                 

There is a long-standing tradition for Careyes to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Large bonfires take of the beach. Celebrations take place from January 30th through February 3rd. 

ARTE CAREYES 

Arte Careyes, is a Mexican and Latin American Film festival, which includes music and contemporary art, in Costa Careyes, Mexico.

This private and innovative event of only 300 guests and leading   thinkers in the artistic community of Mexico, Latin-­America and the world, is a 5 day festival that offers screenings, live music with Mexican talents, a contemporary art exhibition that includes a charity auction, cocktails, parties, polo games, sunning on the beach and a local blend of culinary experiences.
